Ydenticator — proprietary 2FA that only you can unlock

Ydenticator is a next-generation two-factor authenticator that combines something you know, something you are, and something you own. Your identity profile is encrypted on your device and required to generate every code — so a stolen phone or leaked seed isn't enough to sign in as you.

Proprietary challenge

A 30-question profile you answer once at registration becomes the private key behind every 2FA code you ever generate.

On-device encryption

Your answers are encrypted with AES-GCM-256 using a non-extractable key that never leaves your browser's secure storage.

TOTP and phone enrollment

Register any RFC 6238 provider by QR code, and add a phone to your account with an authorized enrollment link from your existing device.

How Ydenticator works

  1. Create your key by answering 30 yes/no questions. Your profile is scored across Explorer, Thinker, and Performer categories and encrypted on this device.
  2. Add service providers by scanning their 2FA QR codes — seeds are encrypted with the same device key.
  3. When a code is needed, Ydenticator asks one question from your profile before releasing the 2FA code, then immediately signs you out.
